This Billing & Refund Policy explains our subscription plans, payment terms, and refund procedures for RawPawIQ services. By subscribing to our paid services, you agree to these terms.

Subscription Plans

Free Plan

Our free plan provides access to basic features at no cost. Free accounts include:

  • Access to the ingredient database
  • Basic meal planning tools
  • Limited saved recipes
  • Single dog profile

Premium Plan

Premium subscriptions unlock full access to all features, including:

  • Unlimited saved recipes
  • Multiple dog profiles
  • Advanced nutritional analysis
  • Priority support
  • Export and sharing features

Note: Specific plan features and pricing are displayed on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

Billing Terms

Billing Cycle

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
  • Your billing cycle begins on the date you subscribe
  • Annual subscriptions are billed once per year at the then-current rate

Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the renewal amount.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods through our payment processor, Stripe:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Other payment methods supported by Stripe in your region

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will:

  • Attempt to charge your payment method again
  • Notify you via email of the failed payment
  • Provide a grace period to update your payment information
  • Suspend your premium access if payment cannot be processed after multiple attempts

Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust subscription pricing. When we make price changes:

  • We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email before any price increase takes effect
  • Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle after the notice period
  • Your continued use of the Service after the price change constitutes acceptance
  • You may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect

Refund Policy

14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Full Refund Available: If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal.

This 14-day period applies to:

  • New subscriptions (first-time subscribers)
  • Subscription renewals
  • Plan upgrades

After the Cooling-Off Period

After the 14-day cooling-off period:

  • Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for the current billing period
  • Annual subscriptions: Prorated refunds may be available at our discretion
  • You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at inbox@rawpawiq.com
  2. Include your account email and reason for the refund request
  3. We will process eligible refunds within 5-10 business days
  4. Refunds will be credited to your original payment method

Exceptions

Refunds may not be available in the following situations:

  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • Requests made after the applicable refund period
  • Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated subscribe/refund cycles)

Cancellation

How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

What Happens When You Cancel

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
  • After your subscription ends, your account will revert to a free plan
  • Your saved data (recipes, dog profiles) will be retained
  • You can resubscribe at any time to regain premium access

Important: Cancellation must be completed before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing period.

Taxes

Subscription prices may be subject to applicable taxes (such as GST, VAT, or sales tax) based on your location. Taxes will be calculated and displayed during checkout.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction. Tax amounts may vary based on your billing address and local tax laws.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Billing & Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Material changes to refund terms or billing practices will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect.
